Apple Announces iPhone 16 Launch Event: What to Expect

Apple has revealed that its iPhone 16 launch event, titled “It’s Glowtime,” will take place on September 9 at Apple Park in California. Scheduled to start at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST), the event will be live streamed globally on Apple’s website.

iPhone 16 Series: Highlights

AI Advancements: The iPhone 16 series is expected to showcase Apple’s latest artificial intelligence tools, introduced earlier at the Worldwide Developers Conference.

New Hardware: The series will likely feature the A18 chip across different models. Notable additions may include a dedicated camera button for touch gestures and a vertical rear camera alignment for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

Design Changes: The Pro models might introduce a 5x zoom periscopic telephoto camera and replace the Blue Titanium color with Bronze Titanium.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra 3: What’s New

Apple Watch Series 10: Expected to debut with a larger and sleeker design, including size increases from 41mm to 45mm for the smaller model, and from 45mm to 49mm for the larger model. It may feature bigger displays and LTPO technology for dynamic refresh rates, powered by the new S10 chip with a dedicated Neural Engine.

Apple Watch Ultra 3: While design changes are expected to be minimal, it is likely to include the new S10 chip for improved AI capabilities and performance.

AirPods 4 and AirPods Max 2: Anticipated Updates

AirPods 4: Expected to offer two models—a standard variant with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and an entry-level version. Both models are likely to transition from the Lightning port to USB-C.

AirPods Max 2: The second-generation AirPods Max might include features such as Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Personalized Volume. While major design changes are not anticipated, new color options and a revised Smart Case could be introduced.
